What to wear with White Jeans - Chic & Stylish Linkup

Morning all.
How are you?

Hopefully better than me!
Last Saturday evening I went out with my husbands and son and had a delicious Japanese dinner. First time for me and it was amazing. We had a couple of drinks before heading to the taxi rank. I unfortunately twisted my foot when the heel of my shoe went down a hole in the cobblestones. I didn’t fall over but the next day I couldn’t walk properly and was hobbling about. I’ve rested it with ice packs on at various stages along with an ibuprofen cream and am seeing how it goes. So as you can imagine I’ve not been to my usual gym classes and have been staying indoors most of the time. I’ve managed to get a few bits done and even managed to try out some new Laura Geller products namely the mascara and eyeliner. Do head over to see my reel all about it. 🤍

Today’s post talks about my white jeans. They’re a new addition and I can’t wait to get wearing them! Need to wait until my foot heals as wearing anything high or tight on my foot is out of the question.

I’ve actually got these jeans in a light wash, you would have seen them on the blog quite a lot in the past cooler months and I plan to bring them out this half of the year to wear again. So I’ve had white jeans in the past but not a wide leg. I bought them online from H&M for just under £25! They’re possibly a tad long therefore I can only really wear them with a heeled shoe or boot. I am contemplating getting another pair and taking them up but that’s just a possibility at the moment. My only bug-bear is that I had to size up! It’s weird though as the other pair is a smaller size and fits nicely. Do you find white denim comes up small?

You can see the fit is perfect and looks great with a belt. I opted for off white shoes, which elongate my legs brilliantly. That’s a good tip to make your pins look longer.

Do you like to add a belt? I feel it just finishes an outfit off. So I’ve got a few in basic colours like this reversible brown one from Ralph Lauren which I’ve got in a cream/snakeprint too. I’ve got another which I need to make smaller which is black. Watch out for that one in the coming months.

Jacket season is upon us now isn’t it. Well today more shower jackets as it’s pouring with rain as I’m sitting here writing. I hope it doesn’t last as I’ve got lots of jackets to keep showing you. This pale blue cropped version is from Damart. It’s what I call my Chanel-esque style and flatters most body shapes and can transform even the most basic of outfits like jeans into a timeless classic. If you’re wanting a link to the lovely jacket head over to the Damart site.

The best thing about an outfit like this is the fact you can wear any kind of thin jumper or top underneath. Here I opted for a tight fitting tee shirt which is quite fitted. I’ve also got a long sleeve version and a roll neck both will be just as good looking and will add a warmer feel for chillier days.

As I was only trying this on for ideas, I didn’t add any jewellery but my gold necklaces and bracelets will look right at home. The gold buttons are a good starting point and it’s a good way to keep everything flowing and looking nice. Also I’ve got bags of bags! My chocolate brown suede crescent bag would be my first choice, however as a close second my pale blue padded shoulder bag would be super cute too.
