I had to take a skirt back to Primark yesterday and came home with a couple of new ‘autumn’ bits. Chocolate brown is still topping the colour charts with a warm caramel and moss green added too. Whilst in Tu, Sainsburys I spotted this skirt. It’s nearly a maxi and is a heavy fabric that’s going to work really well in the cooler months especially when I can wear thick tights and long boots under it. Here I’ve opted for ankle boots without tights as it’s still quite hot here on most days. It’s just a pull on version which scores top marks in the comfort stakes. It’s not got pockets which is a shame, although I don’t think they’d be a great addition with this fabric, it’s sure to have some stretch and could look unsightly. I only found one length which might cause problems if you’re shorter, but can be taken up easily enough. Obviously if you’re taller it isn’t a problem as it would look just as nice sitting up the leg a bit. I’m 5”4 size 12 for reference.
I wore the new jumper too. This came from M&S as previously mentioned and it’s a super soft knit that’s going to not only look good but feel nice on those cold days. It’s a good layering tool as thin clothes, like a tee shirt or shirt can be placed underneath for extra warmth. It will also pair well with a chunky cardigan or waistcoat too. Here I pulled on a recent new jacket from Damart. It’s such a cute colour combo don’t you think. Pale blue and chocolate brown. Do give it a try.
Isn’t the jacket a super style. It’s a copy of the Chanel style with brass buttons and cropped finish. I’m going to get lots of use from this beauty as it looks just a nice with jeans. (Showing those next week) it’s got faux top pockets which also have the same buttons on.
