A new Izabel Midi - Chic & Stylish Linkup

Good morning.
How are you?

Hope you're excited for the new month!  I am because it's my birthday month!

Didn't April fly by.  I had so much on, it was literally one thing after another.
Haven't had a chance to get into the new build much, which is a shame because I like to do my little bit.
David has been full on in there putting radiators in place so the pipe work can be fixed straight to it.  We're still a little way off from having the plastering done, but most of the other work on the middle and top floor is ready to go.  I've even got measurements for the kitchen which I need to take into a few kitchen planners so they can give me an idea of where everything is best placed, I must say it's getting exciting especially with my son-in-law creating room layouts on Chat GPT the bathrooms could be quite fabulous.

I'm planning another visit into town soon, I love to have a browse to see what's new in, and I hope to come home with a few new bits.  You'll be the first to know if and what I get!

The weather here really hasn't been all that good recently with either dull cold days, or sunny windy days. It's been making taking photos a bit of a nightmare.  I'd love to have some 'nice' days soon, some where I can take some good photos without having to deal with the cold wind!

So today I thought I'd share a recent new dress with you.  I've been affiliated with Izabel London for some time now and have another beauty to share with you.

Items marked with * have been gifted to me, however these are 100% my own honest comments.

This green patterned midi would be perfect for that special occasion when something classic and chic is favourable. With long sleeves and high neck this formal dress * would also be just right for a christening or formal banquet.

The pretty collar that curves to reveal stunning diamanté buttons that run down the front of the bodice to the waist where a cute matching tie belt is waiting to either tie up on the front or try something different and do it up at the back.

It’s got a few lovely additions running through it. Pretty pink and pale blue are creating a pattern with off white hints spreading down to the hem of the dress which has a really lovely full skirt. The fabric has a lovely soft feel to it, giving it a floaty feel, it’s giving full-on lady like vibes.

I added my cream boots but pink heels or white sling-backs would look super too. I just need a special occasion to wear this beauty now. 💚🤍🌸 Oh I nearly forgot to mention it's got pockets!  You all know how much I love an item with pockets and this one has them - hooray. x

  6. I don't remember if you all have an expected timeline for the new build? My mom's birthday is in May too! Now that my parents have moved in, maybe I will take her clothes shopping! It's much closer and would be fun! I picked up a distressed white denim jacket and top and a backpack purse today at the thrift store. It was a fun little outing: it really has been crazy busy here!

  9. That is an absolute stunner of a dress, Jacqui! I love it with the white boots but can also see it with pink or even green heels. We have had the weirdest weather here in the States. It was quite warm, and then we had frost a day or two later. Now, it's sunny and chilly. Thanks for the link party!
