Linen from Lintico.

Hiya everyone,
How are you?

A busy weekend what with Airbnb cleans, ironing - for Airbnb and then working in the garden, I’m exhausted.

We’re less than two weeks away from the wedding and it’s getting very exciting. The house is full of box’s, bags, clothing bags and flowers, it’s becoming very real now.
I want to have everything done by next weekend so I can really enjoy the run up. The marquee should be up this week, so we’ll be able to get more of an idea as to where everything will go! We won’t be putting everything in place until the end of next week. Stay tuned to see how it looks after the 29th. 👏👏

With warm weather still very much in play, albeit a tad cooler and we did have a little rain overnight a couple of nights ago, but we’re still in a drought therefore watering the plants has been a task! Filling up the watering can everyday has been tiring but at least we’ve had water. Many of the surrounding areas have been without water at times! How’s your supply doing?

Items marked with * have been gifted to me, however these are 100% my own honest comments.

With it being so hot, I’ve resorted to shorts and a little tee shirt most of the time. If I’ve been wanting to dress up I’ve put on one of my pretty sundresses which are floaty and have spaghetti straps. But I know this hot weather won’t last - so today’s outfit is one I can’t wait to wear once the weather cools down a bit!

Have you heard of Lintico? They seem to be making a big splash here with lots of ladies styling their linen wear, so I was pleased to be asked to pick a few pieces from them.
This little boxy top ticked a few boxes for me and I love how this detailed linen top looks so at home with my white trousers.
It’s a square styled hem which has an interesting double layered effect. It’s quite flattering and just hangs loosely over trousers or a skirt. I like the flowy style of this look but o think it would also be a good pairing for skinny jeans or capri trousers. It’s got a scoop neck that does-up with a small button. The 3/4 sleeves are a great look giving them a classic feel which works nicely for lunch dates or a trip to the pub!

I added a statement necklace with my layered beads. They look right at home over this abstract design of black and white. You can view the other colours that Noreen * is offered in, along with the matching trousers. If you stop back next week I’ll show you this top in navy with the corresponding wide leg trousers too! Priced at £56, this linen top is a bargain! Such a versatile piece to add to your wardrobe, I promise you you’ll love this one!

The white trousers were a sale buy from River Island. I had a pair from them that were too small, so when I found these for £29 on the sale rail I grabbed them and headed straight for the till. They’re going to be a super addition come Autumn too. You can see them worn with a canary yellow top here.

Here’s that interesting layered detail I was telling you about. Can you see the fab finish around the pocket of my trousers. It’s worth mentioning that lots of Lintico’s pieces feature individual designs which I reckon you’ll love.

I just wanted to add did you see my tassel bag? I’ve shared it on Instagram before & this classic style will never date. If it’s a style you like it’s worth getting some tassels into your life.

Thank you for joining me today. What have you been up to recently? Do let me know in the comments section and pop back on Thursday for the linkup.
Bye for now. X
