My Favourite Dress of the Season - Chic & Stylish Linkup.

Hello and welcome to the blog. 

How did your week go?

Didn't it go fast! Probably because I’ve been away and didn’t get home until Tuesday. I’ve have a stunning time in Sicily and quite honestly didn’t want to come home, especially when we arrived home to cooler weather and a rainy Wednesday, we left sunny weather. Hasn’t it been awful today!

It’s good to get away isn’t it. I always return home with vigour and excitement to get back into blogging and have a whole host of new offerings to share with you over the coming weeks. 

I just have to share on of my outfits with you from my recent trip to Sicily - you will understand my love for this dress I picked from Izabel recently. Just look how lovely it is!

If you’re new to my blog you won’t know my love for taking one pieces and dresses away with me. I just find it so much easier to style something like this and not have to worry about mixing and matching and possibly wearing the wrong separates together! I’ve done that before and then had an odd outfit at the end of my trip!  So taking a single dress is so much easier, you just need to know what accessories go with it along with what shoes!

So more about my favourite dress. * It’s a maxi and has a nice amount of fabric making it a floaty dream. It’s an enchanting assortment of pinks and has a cute v neckline that’s edged with a sparkly boarder. The flattering empire line suits every silhouette as does the elastic waist which pulls the shape in for a feminine finish. It’s got hidden pockets too. The sleeves are just what autumn calls for, when it’s a little bit cooler, but you still want a summery look. I found this beauty to be the perfect pick for Winter sun holidays - this one worked a treat in Sicily last weekend. 🩷

As I mentioned above wearing a dress makes picking an outfit really easy. I decided I didn’t want to add a necklace because of the neck detail but did choose bigger earrings. I also had matching pink shoes. Which actually went well with my other dresses I took away (detailed post to follow). The only other point to raise is the neutral clutch bag. I actually bought this on my first visit here and it’s been a valuable addition which has been well worth the money (roughly £80 two years ago). 

My pink shoes are sling-backs and were a past gift from Vivaia shoes. They are extremely comfortable with a padded inner sole and soft upper fabric that’s made from

bottles! Do have a look at their huge selection, they do boots as well!
