Luxurious Yellow Midi - Chic & Stylish Linkup.

Good morning everyone.
What have you been up to since we last spoke?

A busy week for me and I'm away on Sunday for a week skiing with David.  Since 2001 we've gone skiing with the kids and good friends with our group booking reaching nearly 30 people!  It's just David and me this year so it's going to be very different.  Many of the kids have now either got families of their own or have just bought new houses or are saving for weddings!  A couple of our older friends have health issues or family commitments!  It's hard to see the group so small now, but I'm hoping it will improve over the next few years - that's until David and I may be too old or infirm to go!!!

Today I thought I'd share a recent addition to my dress section.  This pretty midi has been a welcomed addition as I know it will be worn time and time again!

Items marked with * have been gifted to me, however these are 100%  my own honest comments.

I'm hankering after Spring fashions so when this beauty appeared I literally jumped at it.  Well who else wouldn't be smitten with this yellow dress that's covered in brown polka dots!

Blue Vanilla have a multitude of stunning outfits so I was spoilt for choice. But this luxurious yellow dress * caught my eye immediately. It’s everything I want in a dress, mid length with long sleeves and a pleated skirt, I’m not too worried about the neck line but this cowl neck line is really quite pretty, it’ll be perfect for cooler Spring
Summer days when the weather isn’t fully turned up!

Another plus for me is the pretty lurex thread that runs through the fabric - it definitely gives it an edge of luxury and makes it suitable for a really special occasion.  The elasticated waist will be a lovey addition as it moves nicely with the waistband as the day goes on!

No brainer to wear chocolate tones with the yellow and brown midi. So I reached for some old faithful boots that are SO comfy. The block heel and square toe scream comfort as soon as you pull them on! They’re a classic style that reminds me of the 70’s - I just need a mini skirt to take me there! But I need you to know they work really well with my mid length dress too! Versatility at its finest!
The bag has been featured so many times before. The Elie Beaumont chocolate brown bag is at the top of the fashion ladder, I mean who doesn’t love the crescent shape that can be whisked into a shoulder bag or crossbody stunner at the switch of the strap!

  6. What a lovely surprise to see my post! I hope you have a wonderful time skiing! We are in the process of planning a week vacation to Colorado this summer and I am planning to book the plane tickets this weekend. Love the sheen of your dress! I have switched out just a few things today: pulled out my cropped jeans and put some of mine darker heavier ones away. I also pulled out some of my lighter pants. Spring and fall is a good time for them. It gets hot here very quickly.
