LBT, Black Jeans & Shirt Dress with Cerise Pink.

Morning all.
Hope you're all okay.
I've had a quiet weekend.  Due to go out with friends but feeling slightly under par I didn't go. Hopefully it can be postponed - afternoon tea would have been right up my street, but fingers crossed I can go another day.
I was going through my jewellery box a few weeks when I was delighted to find the watch hubby bought me quite a few years ago - I'd spotted it in a shop window and recalled in detail just what the striking Dolce and Gabbana timepiece looked like - imagine my surprise when he presented it to me for our anniversary - it's quite noticeable and very unusual.  It needed a battery which I'd neglected and then forgotten to get, it's nice to be wearing it again - let me know if it's one you'd wear.
Later today I'm out with Esther taking photos, and I've got some great footwear to share with you along with an interesting pair of hand warmers too!  Do look out for them.

Continuing my styling of this LBT I've got another look up my sleeve to share with you.  Paired over black skinny jeans this solid black colour called out for a lighter, brighter top layer - this is where my shirt dress worked it's magic.   This shirt dress is a typical design with no seam at the waist which gives a loser, baggy feel that can be adjusted with a matching belt. This gives a flattering fit for everyone.  Mine is from F & F (previous season) and boasts flattering sleeves that can turned up and fastened with the tab and button - not a look that I'm totally at home with, so I normally leave it them to hang.  See more of my black top with white Bermudas & also teamed with floral favourites.

It's an abstract design in white, black and pink - so I've picked out pink mules to compliment it.  Black or ivory boots will stand out when it's cooler, or maybe I'll find some hot pink beauties to swoon over!

Still having a bit of a thing for frayed jeans, fortunately they're still big on the fashion scene so you're sure to find a pair with your name on them!  These are previous season from a vast selection in Zara - these are very similar.

Do remember you can layer up garments for cooler weather - long line shirts or kimono's make perfect extra layers over Tee's or jumpers.  Wearing it this way will see you well into Winter & keep you warm along the way, but can be removed for warmer flushes.

Here's those sleeves I was telling you about - although they are quite small fiddly buttons, they do look cute in bright shiny silver.

Here's my deliciously unusual watch, I fell for the exquisite hanging locket which clipped onto the darling white leather strap.  Glad to have been re-acquainted with my stylish piece of jewellery, and so nice to know hubby takes so much notice of what I say .... well some of the time eh! 😜😉

Thanks for stopping by today.
Esther very kindly took these photos today. x
Do let me know what you've been up to since last week.
Catch you again on Thursday.
Bye for now. X

  10. Such a fun trench! I have not worn my regular watches in so long and kind of miss them. Becoming uber obsessed with a fitness watch has it's plusses and minuses. Hope you are having a super week!
