Frilly Shirt & Grey #ChicandStylish #linkup

Morning lovelies.
Hope you are well.
On Monday I hope you caught my post featuring the ladies from Style not Age group.  Our task, set by me, was Polka Dots!
I bought two tops, one the cute yellow top from Zara, (that you can see here) the other a dainty blouse from H & M. Initially I had in my mind to return the second blouse, but I tried it on, & now I'm not so sure!
I thought I'd put it out to you lovely readers to decide whether I should keep it or not!

Now let's have a 'show & tell' about the blouse ...
Whilst musing over the new arrivals in H & M last week I saw this pretty blouse.

Drawn by the 'dinner shirt' frill I bought it without a second glance.  Knowing what suits me and what doesn't meant not trying it on!  Yes I can hear you know - remember what happened last time you did that??  But I DID check the size matched the hangar size, so nothing could go wrong there!
The main colour of the sheer chiffon blouse is very, very pale peach. I wasn't sure if it would suit my colourings, so have paired it with a subtle grey along with white and black spotted sling backs.
I still can't decide what colour the polka dot is, so if I keep it whatever I pair it with that'll be the colour, lol.
So today it's grey to compliment the grey stretchy pencil skirt, and a long grey marl coatigan.

Brining out these old favourites of mine.  I've always loved a sling back shoe & have had these for years.  They have a comfortable block heel that's a great height for everyday running around, being a neutral colour work with so many outfits.

With rain all day when we took these photos we resorted to taking the photos indoors, not my favourite situation, but I got to use my Mum-in-laws house which is beautiful and makes an excellent backdrop.
So what's your verdict? Do I keep the blouse or return it?  I'd love to hear what you think ladies. X
