Style Steal - White Jeans & Leopard Print.

Hello, thanks for stopping by - welcome to my blog for the mature lady (well for everyone really).

Catch up with previous 'steals'  July,  August,  September,  October,  November,  December, and January.

My Style Steal today is from a gorgeous lady from across the pond in North Carolina, with a love of fashion in common I've wanted to try and 'copy' one of her styles for a long time.
Meet Jessica who you'll find creating stunning outfits at Elegantly Dressed and Stylish you'll see on her blog she really is both of these.

Last year, after seeing other bloggers sporting them, I decided that I should give white jeans in Winter a try.  Having always only worn them in the summer & thinking that just don't cut it for cold, wet days - how wrong I was!  As long as the weather is not wet and damp white jeans are perfect to brighten up an otherwise dowdy, dull outfit.
Check out my all white outfit,  also see two ways with white jeans  - both look super.  Both kept me extremely warm - unlike wearing them in the summer months when I get way too hot and sticky!

Let's take a look at my February Style Steal.

My white jeans have been in the wardrobe for a few years now, I stopped wearing them for quite a while because I was smitten with my skinny Matalan jeans.  Welcoming them back into my life recently I knew they'd be a good starting point for my 'copy' this month.  My suede jacket is obviously darker than Jess's jacket, with fluffy warm collar and cuffs, I'm warm as toast in it.
My husband picked this for me quite a few years ago from Zara, they always have an amazing collection of coats and jackets, I love popping in there for ideas & insight as to what the latest looks are all about.

Leopard print is again on trend for this season, (I recently saw an article in a magazine showing leopard with navy - which looked superb, one to try I think)
The scarf has been in my collection for a few years, being worn on numerous occasions both casual and smart.  If you see one (and obviously like leopard print) on a visit to the stores I urge you to pick one up - you'll be surprised at just what it will mix with!

This bag was a Christmas present ages ago, but doesn't come out to play very often - there's no real excuse why, just plenty of other choices come to hand earlier.  I'll be changing this as I love it!

Bye for now. X

  2. Another successful steal, Jacqui. I haven't done one for ages and your post reminded me of an old Zara fur trimmed cardi I have. Maybe I should do a steal of you stealing Jess ... a sort of pass-the-parcel steal! Must mention the photos, Emily has captured you and the moment brilliantly. Hugs, x.

  3. Gorgeous outfit, Jacqui! You look snug and warm too which makes a nice change because I usually think you must be bloody freezing lol!! I've only just started wearing white jeans in winter too, and I love it. The reason I never did before was because, like you, I was worried they'd be filthy by the end of the day!
    Have a great day.
    Hugs

  7. Super steal Jaqui! You nailed it! White jeans in Winter are fabulous. I love them with neutrals and if course my favorite print - leopard. You mentioned leopard with navy and that sounds like a great idea I haven't seen done much. Fresh and new, can't wait to see it!

  12. Just love this recreation of Jess's outfit. I love to wear white denim in the winter (and, yes... as long as it isn't wet! Lol!)... I should try my leopard top with mine, but I also have a leopard scarf. Don't have a brown jacket, but love how both of you styled yours with the leopard and white denim!
