Mustard and Grey - with a bit of Silver.

Morning fellow bloggers.

It seems our weather here in the UK has got warmer, however wetter which I'm disliking too!   The wet weather really interferes with looking sleek and stylish, have me negotiating puddles in heels and dodging the drips, even with an umbrella can be chaotic!
Having plenty of ideas of wearing fun colourful outfits in the winter as I do in the summer, but in fact I nearly always resort to wearing my jeans and boots to complete my jobs!

So today I've decided to venture out of jeans and into a brighter styled outfit.
I keep seeing grey and mustard/yellow everywhere, you know how it is when you see something and like it, you then see it everywhere!
This mustard jumper worn over a long line T shirt in the matching colour makes the look more streamlined.  You can catch when I've worn this before here. Mixing this with my grey trousers, these are basic straight leg, fitting on the waist for a more comfortable feel, I've worn these on numerous occasions one of which you can see here. The fur gilet/vest makes an appearance again, it's just so versatile and goes with so many other colours, see what I've also worn it with here
Picking this grey and silver scarf which I feel lifts the outfit even more, bringing a brighter more positive feel to today's look, I started with the scarf around my neck more, but it was quite bunched up so left it to hang lower down.

Just happened to cast my inquisitive eye over Clarks online shop, falling head over heels (excuse the pun) in love with some super gorgeous shoes from Clarks.  So far I've got three pairs in my basket, but I don't think I'll be clicking the button just yet - well there maybe more to add - lol then I'll make my final choice.
Here's what's in so far ......

....... what would you pick?

Grace Mia Dusky Pink Ballet Pump
£60

Eliberry Isla
Ducky Pink Leather
£50

Bronze Metallic Eva Grace
£70

Dusky Pink Leather
Grace Eva for £70

Do you like the new styles? Ballerina styles, court shoes or pumps with a smaller heel and a wonderful cushion insole for non-stop comfort, befitting so many looks what more could you ask for.

Off to Tap class later on - I've got the opportunity to perform in a show in the summer, but I've not made my decision whether to commit to it!  Why does decision making become so much hard when we get older? or is it just me?

Bye for today X

  2. I like this unique color combination and what a fab vest! Our weather here is getting a bit warmer as well, but I am not a fan of Jan altogether!
I would pick the second with the low block heel or the last if I could wear a higher heel. Clarks are comfy!

  6. It's a colour combo I love and you've put together some great textures. Looking great, Jacqui.
I've had grey items in my Clarks basket for several weeks, not shiny spring stuff like yours.
I'm terrible on decisions and committing - hence the basket! But do the show - it's a great opportunity.

  10. That color combination is absolutely beautiful. I always think mustard and gold. So boring. With the silver, it just pops.

  12. I was so close to getting a mustard Pendleton turtleneck on clearance last month. After seeing your photos, I am a bit sorry I didn't. I know I love these two used in interiors and now know I would love to wear the combination too. For the shoes I would pick-the ballet flats and those Eva Grace bronze heels have my name all over them! Take care, Terri

  13. I'm really liking the mustard colour atm, it's such a vibrant colour. Shame you didn't buy it. I've seen these tones in interior items and they look fabulous. I've not purchased the shoes as of yet - won't be long though! xx
