Fashion and Lifestyle Blogger for the over Fifties - What real women wear!

Wednesday 7 September 2016

Workout Wednesday.

What are you up to on this first Wednesday in September?
Like you I'm wondering what the weather will be bringing into the 'what shall I wear' equation.
Firstly though I'm actually participating in not only one but two, yes two keep fit classes!!  Having not been in ages I know this is going to be difficult.  The hardest class will be spin/cycle, really it has been more years than I care to remember when I attended these workouts!
Dripping with sweat with a face resembling an inflated tomato such a good look, such a unfit look!
Straight after I'll be joining the ladies in a class far more relaxed! ... Pilates.  That's going to hurt tomorrow.  Oh well as they say "no pain, no gain".

Waving my youngest daughter off today as she departs for a festival - a working festival.  You commit to work at two festivals and pay a deposit of your ticket price, if you turn up, do your allotted hours, you get a refund on your ticket!  Such a great way to enjoy the festivals, have staff quarters and not have to pay the huge sum for a ticket - blimin good idea.

I've got another list going for items that I need/want in my wardrobe, you know how it is - some things you just buy on a whim - stunning coat or jacket, others you just need - basic T shirts and underwear, and then there's the section for items that will complete loads of different looks with pieces you already own.  Here's mine:

Snakeskin ankle boots.
Black jacket.
Animal print belt.
Blue bag.
Culottes either navy or rust/red.

Long black boots.  (Having wide calves I struggle to get boots wide enough).

Whilst browsing the magazines, I spotted this beauty.  From Matalan at only £16, lovely black neck tie that's so 'in' for the time being, and the darling frilly cuffs make this so feminine. I think I'll be a cute little number to pair with jeans, fitted skirt or black trousers.
Reminds me of the 80's and the 'new romantics style'.
You like yes or no?

Have a great day.  Wish me luck for my classes!  I'll be back tomorrow, even if I can't move any other part of my body, I'm sure my fingers will work. ;-O
